Vitex CEO Dr Aniss Chami Delivers Keynote Speech at the International FDI Summit in Huzhou, China

CHINA, 29 October 2019 – Vitex Pharmaceuticals’ CEO, Dr Aniss Chami delivered the keynote speech at the Inaugural International Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) Summit held on Tuesday 29 October 2019 in Huzhou, China.

The Huzhou region, which specialises in advanced manufacturing, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries, is one of the most thriving investment locations outside of Shanghai with a total foreign investment volume of $31.79 billion.

This prestigious event was launched to bring in global investors, world political and economic leaders and industry intermediaries to discuss, network and build relationships that lead to sustainable investment.

Dr Chami’s keynote speech regarding Pharmaceuticals and Biotechnology concluded with a panel discussion facilitated by William Delaney. The discussion led by Dr Chami and three panellists – Guido Magrin, CEO, TeiaCare (Italy), Dr Yongtai Hou, Chairman and Executive Director, Shanghai Haohai Biological Technology Co., LTD and Arjun Kumra, Director of International Business, Kumra Pharma (India) – covered topics on new investments in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology and how companies are integrating technology into these sectors.
