Vitex CEO Dr Aniss Chami Wins 2019 Leadership Prize for Corporate Achievement

SYDNEY, Australia, 2 July 2019 – Vitex Pharmaceuticals’ Chief Executive Officer, Dr Aniss Chami, has been awarded the 2019 Leadership Prize for Corporate Achievement award by Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue.

Dr Chami was presented with his award during the fourth annual Out There Summit held at Bankstown’s Bryan Brown Theatre on 2 July 2019. This coveted prize was presented to Dr Chami in honour of his role as Chief Executive Officer of the highly successful Vitex Pharmaceuticals.

The Out There Summit is the Dialogue’s flagship policy and community event, bringing forward great new ideas for Western Sydney – and setting the debate for regional investment, growth, governance and social inclusion. The 2019 program focused on education, jobs, major projects, sustainability and other trends impacting the growth of the region. The event featured a full day conference, including the annual Lachlan Macquarie Lecture and the awarding of the Pemulwuy Prize for commitment to the region.

The Out There Summit saw some of Australia’s most recognised leaders meet in Bankstown, including Former NSW Premier Hon. Bob Carr and Greater Sydney Commission Chief Commissioner Lucy Turnbull AO as well as NSW Education Minister Hon. Sarah Mitchell.

The Western Sydney Leadership Dialogue is a not-for-profit community initiative designed to give voice to this dynamic region and boost its social and economic progress.

Dr Chami also holds a Masters Degree in Financial Management (MFM) and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
