Vitex CEO Finalist in the 2018 Executive of the Year Awards

SYDNEY, Australia, 13 September 2018 – For the third consecutive year, Vitex Pharmaceuticals Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Aniss Chami has been nominated as a finalist in the prestigious CEO Magazine’s Executive of the Year Awards. Having being awarded 2017 Manufacturing CEO of the Year, Dr. Chami has spearheaded the expansion of the company including the launch of the world-class 26,000 sqm manufacturing plant in Sydney’s west.

The Executive of the Year Awards is one of the most important and prestigious events on the business calendar.

The awards recognise the achievements of leaders and professionals over the past year, and the contributions they have made to their companies.  Now in it’s seventh year, the 2018 event will be held at ICC Sydney on Wednesday 21 November and is anticipated to be the biggest yet with more than 550 guests and nominees from the country’s most respected and innovative brands expected to attend.

Dr. Chami has been nominated as a finalist as the Health and Pharmaceuticals Executive of the Year as well as the Manufacturing Executive of the Year. Dr. Chami is being recognised for his commitment to excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing and leading an agile team to successfully manage the rapid growth of the company underpinned by its core values of Integrity, Quality, and Innovation.

Vitex is expected to grow to a cohort of over 400 employees by 2020, sponsoring skilled work in Western Sydney and expanding the supply capacity of the Australian Pharmaceutical industry.
